Foundation Assisting Seniors is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

Foundation Assisting Seniors provides support services, durable medical equipment assistance, wellness check programs, community outreach, volunteer opportunities, and related resources primarily serving seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and families throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

All equipment is provided “as available” without warranties or guarantees of suitability, condition, effectiveness, compatibility, or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

Users and caregivers are responsible for ensuring that equipment is used safely and appropriately for individual medical or mobility needs. Foundation Assisting Seniors encourages all users to consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding proper equipment selection, use, and safety.

 

Foundation Assisting Seniors shall not be liable for injuries, damages, losses, equipment failure, misuse, or consequences arising from the use or inability to use any equipment provided.

 

Equipment availability may vary based on donations, inventory, sanitation processes, staffing, and organizational capacity.

 

Separate equipment agreements, acknowledgments, or liability waivers may apply.

6. Wellness Check and Communication Programs

Foundation Assisting Seniors may provide wellness calls, check-in services, communication programs, or similar outreach initiatives, including the “HowRU®” program and related services.

 

These programs are intended solely for general support and wellness check-in purposes and do not replace emergency response systems, medical monitoring services, healthcare providers, caregivers, or emergency services.

 

Foundation Assisting Seniors is not a healthcare provider, emergency response provider, or medical monitoring service.

 

Users understand and agree that communications may occasionally be delayed, interrupted, missed, or unavailable due to technical issues or service interruptions. Foundation Assisting Seniors cannot guarantee immediate response times or uninterrupted service availability.

 

Participants remain responsible for their own safety, healthcare decisions, emergency planning, and obtaining appropriate medical care or emergency assistance when needed.

 

Participants should not rely on any wellness or communication program during a medical emergency or urgent situation. In the event of an emergency, participants should call 911 or contact appropriate emergency services immediately.

 

Participation in wellness or communication programs may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

 

Separate participant agreements, acknowledgments, or releases may apply.

 

Foundation Assisting Seniors shall not be liable for emergencies, injuries, losses, damages, delays, missed communications, technical interruptions, or inability to contact participants related to participation in any wellness or communication program.

7. Donations

The Website may allow users to make charitable donations to Foundation Assisting Seniors.
